of sexual orientation or marital status. Family building for same sex
intended parents requires the assistance of a third party – a sperm
donor for lesbian women and an egg donor and a surrogate for gay men.
CRMI works with many reputable and experienced sperm banks, egg
donation and surrogacy agencies, reproductive lawyers and infertility
consultants, all of whom you may use to help you find donors and
surrogates and to ensure that all legal requirements are met. Known egg
and sperm donors also can be used but will need to undergo all the
required testing.
